At the heart of Heather's practice is her belief that everything has its harmonious intentions, and that life is the construct of “an elegant relationship between energy and form.” Heather holds degrees in biology and public health, and was an accomplished executive professional in major medical device and pharmaceutical systems for more than two decades. A romantic at heart, Heather has also spent the past twelve years traveling the world connecting with notable thought-leaders in the areas of science, spirituality and energy-work in an attempt to break down barriers by linking like-minded fields of knowledge — it is this diverse and seemingly dichotomous background that makes her a uniquely strong practitioner. When speaking to medical professionals, Heather explains cellular and molecular biology with the poise and passion of a 13th-century, Sufi, mystic writing poetry to a lover.

All the same, life is filled with its joy and sorrow. Her journey to self-awareness and transcendent knowledge began with the realization that wholeness encompasses both. In 2012, Heather experienced a tumultuous divorce and collapsing entrepreneurial endeavor and embraced the need to understand these lessons in her story. Bearing the responsibility of three young children, and suffering a perennial battle with anxiety and depression, Heather felt she had lost the will to live.

 

Through Heather’s faith and grace she got up off the kitchen floor and began to see her life with new eyes. Adversity is inevitable, but the path to truth is through love. As Rumi wrote, “the wound is where the light enters you.” This light brought clarity, and a new joy began to expand within. The emergent happiness brought with it a new calling to expand her life in a balanced and holistic way. The all-encompassing love for her children empowered Heather to teach them and others to do the same.

Heather resigned from her executive role in a conventional medical field, canceled her weekly talk-therapy session and committed her life to understanding the true kokoro — the enigmatic, connection of the mind, the body and the eternal soul.

 

Heather's decade of travel has been driven by a desire to understand the ineffable mystery of our human experience. Along the way, she has earned several certifications and credentials and has pioneered new areas of physical, emotional and spiritual healing through energy modalities.

 

Heather has designed the Center of One to share this knowledge, and evolve the human experience through energy. Like everything she does, the Center offers the highest quality and divine aesthetic.
